Dianne Kocs graduated from Weber State University with a BS in Visual Communication/Illustration and has received awards for her paintings and photographs. Dianne’s experience spans more than 25 years and includes 8 years as an art teacher.
Golden Spike Event Center
The Golden Spike Event Center is Ogden’s state-of-the-art facility for horse events, conventions and exhibitions. It hosts local and national events, spans more than 150 acres and has 149,250 square feet of indoor space. The facilities include exhibit halls, indoor arenas, 397 permanent-covered stalls, 3/4 mile covered grandstand oval race track, a championship equestrian cross country course, 7 soccer elds, a lighted softball quadraplex, regulation volleyball and basketball courts and a new outdoor stadium. The Center is named for the historical event in 1869 when the Eastern and Western sections of the nation’s rst transcontinental railroad were united by a nal spike of gold in the Northern Utah wilderness. Today, the Golden Spike Event Center is the “ nal spike” for many successful events!
